What’s up with Fergie’s arm in this Black Eyed Peas concert ad? #WTF
Published May 5th, 2010
I was flipping through a copy of Rolling Stone this weekend and found this ad for the Black Eyed Peas’ Summer Tour.
After asking some basic questions like, “Why am I getting Rolling Stone? I didn’t order Rolling Stone…” and “Who the hell still reads Rolling Stone?” I said, “What the hell is up with Fergie’s arm in this photo?”
Wow that is some bad Photoshop work right there. It looks like snapped the arm off a Fergie doll and then tried to make it all better by just gluing it back on… incorrectly.
I would say maybe she’s supposed to look like she’s leaning on a wall or something, she even has a shadow, but that can’t be right. Everybody else in the shot is doing action poses, yet there stands a solemn Fergie, holding back a wall of energy… or something.
Having to suffer watching them open up for U2 last year was bad enough, how I have this mutant image of Fergie in my head.

PS – Oh, and screw you Rolling Stone. You put the Back Eyed Peas on the friggin’ cover of the issue entitled, “The State of Rock, starring The Black Eyed Peas”? At their best, they are a Pop act and at their worst, they’re just regurgitated crap and you put them at number one on your list and, well, fuck, just about anybody else under them. No wonder print is dying.
